- Abstract: This file contains correspondence and documentation relating to the establishment and running of air routes to and from the Persian Gulf Residency's various stations, particularly Kuwait. The documents include agreements between rulers and the British Political Agency and Imperial Airways on the legal, logistical and administrative aspects of the air route. The correspondence also covers pricing, fuel costs, and matters relating to the payment and administration of customs duties. The file also contains correspondence between the Political Agency in Kuwait, Whitehall and the India office.Physical description: Foliation: the foliation sequence commences at the inside front cover with 1, and terminates at the inside back cover with 334; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio.An additional foliation sequence is present in parallel between ff 42-329; these numbers are written in pencil and crayon, but are not circled.A previous foliation sequence, which is also circled, has been superseded and therefore crossed out.
