- Abstract: Journal of the East India Company ship the Williamby George Marriatt, covering its voyage from England to Suratt [Surat] and Bantam [Banten] and back between 1 March 1629/30 and 6 August 1633 (Captain Matthew Wills).The journal consists of daily entries of information on the following: navigation; winds; weather; contact with other East India Company ships, such as the Blessing; contact with Duch [Dutch] ships and French crew; descriptions of the coasts seen during the ship's course; general observations. When the ship is at anchor the entries consist of remarks only.
