Abstract: A copy of a letter from Brigadier-General John Malcolm, Envoy of the Supreme Government of India to Persia [Iran], to Sir Harford Jones, HM Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Persia, sent from a camp near Bushire [Būshehr] and dated 16 February 1810. The letter forwards instructions to Jones from the Governor-General of Bengal and announces Malcolm's arrival in Bushire and plans to proceed to the Persian Court.The letter was enclosed in Jones's letter No. 5 to the Secret Committee of the Court of Directors of the East India Company dated 26 March 1810.Physical description: 1 item (2 folios)
