The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; Philip LeGeyt, Senior Magistrate of Police, Bombay; Edward Danvers, Acting Senior Magistrate of Police, Bombay; William Charles Andrews, Agent for the Governor of Surat; and P Stewart, Acting Agent for the Governor of Surat.
