A particular case involving Sheik Sultan ben Suggur, Sheik of Ruzul Khymah and Sharga [Shaikh Sulṭān I bin Ṣaqr al-Qāsimī, Shaikh of Ra’s al-Khaymah and Sharjah], is discussed as Kemball's predecessor, Samuel Hennell, had previously informed this Sheik that he would receive compensation money to distribute to his subjects. The item also contains an extract of a letter from the Court of Directors to the Government of Bombay on this point. The title page of the item contains the following references: 'Bombay Political Department', 'Draft No. 350 of 1853', 'Collection No. 1 of No. 121 of 1852', 'Vol: 8', and 'Examiner's Office'.
