Abstract: This item consists primarily of copies of correspondence cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay. The correspondents are the Government of Bombay and Lieutenant Colonel Robert Taylor, Political Agent in Turkish Arabia.The item concerns a request by Taylor to retain the services of Andrew Ross, the Assistant Surgeon at the Residency, even after he has been promoted to Full Surgeon.
