- Abstract: The file contains correspondence related to the re-establishment of local administration in Persia [Iran] following the Anglo-Soviet Invasion in 1941. The focus of the file is the distribution of wheat, though security matters do receive some consideration. A large proportion of the papers are related to the appointment of Area Liaison Officers, Consular Liaison Officers, and Vice-Consuls to provide supervision of Persian provincial administration.
