Abstract: Correspondence and minutes concerning the Sultan of Muscat's wish to minimise wireless and press publicity of his country and its relations with Britain during the Second World War. The correspondence is between officials at the Political Residency in the Persian Gulf, Government of India (External Affairs Department), India Office, Ministry of Information, and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
