- Abstract: This file contains copies of a monthly summary of events that was compiled by the Persian Gulf Residency in Bahrain (having moved there from Bushire in 1946).The diaries are separated into a number of different sections that vary slightly from month to month. This is placed at the back of the correspondence.Physical description: Foliation: the foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1, and terminates at the inside back cover with 97; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio. A previous foliation sequence, which is also circled, has been superseded and therefore crossed out.
