Abstract: A memorandum written by Edmund Neel, Political and Secret Department, India Office, and an addendum, in which is discussed the possibility of a French occupation of Turkish-held Sheikh Said [Ra’s Shaykh Sa‘īd], on the south-western tip of the Arabian Peninsula.
