- Abstract: The item consists of copies and extracts of correspondence, minutes and resolutions cited in, or enclosed with, letters from the Government of Bombay. The item is chiefly concerned with the Government of Bombay's opinions on the draft Treaty negotiated between the Pasha of Egypt and John Benzoni, Assistant to British Agency in the Red Sea, which relates to trade between India, Cairo, Alexandria, Abyssinia and Malta.
