Abstract: Extracts of six letters received at Bushire [Būshehr], presumably by the British Resident at Bushire, in April 1808, mostly relating to French influence in Persia [Iran]. The writer or writers of the letters are not identified. The first three letters are stated to have been sent from Sehraze [Shīrāz, also spelled Sehgras and Seherauze in this item].The extracts of letters were enclosed in a letter from Sir Harford Jones, British Envoy Extraordinary to Persia, to Lord Dundas, President of the Board of Control, of 2 June 1808, which was received in December 1808.Physical description: 1 item (8 folios)
