Abstract: Translated copies of letters from Captain John Malcolm, former Envoy of the Supreme Government of India to Persia [Iran], to: the King [Shah] of Persia Futteh Ali Shah [Fath-'Ali Shāh Qājār]; Meerza Sheffie [Mīrzā Muḥammad Shafī' Māzandarānī], Grand Vizier (Sadr-e 'Azam); Chiraugh Alee Khan [Cherāgh 'Ali Khān], Vizier to the Prince Regent; and other Persian officials. The letters concern the death in Bombay [Mumbai] of the Persian Ambassador to India [Hājī Muhammad Khalīl Khān Qazvīnī].The letters were translated by Lieutenant Charles Pasley and enclosed in Malcolm's letter to the Secret Committee of the Court of Directors of the East India Company dated 16 November 1802.Physical description: 1 item (8 folios)
