Abstract: Translation of a letter from the Persian Ambassador to France, Askar Khan [Askar Khan Afshar], to the Vizier of the Crown Prince of Persia [Iran], Meerza Bozurg [Mirza Buzurg], of 1 April 1809. The letter details the news of the day from Paris, particularly the plans for the marriage of Napoleon Bonaparte to the daughter of the Emperor of Austria, Marie Louise.
