Abstract: Translation of a letter from the Prince Royal [Crown Prince] of Persia [Iran], Abbas Meerza [Mirza], to HM Minister Plenipotentiary to the Ottoman Empire, Stratford Canning. The letter indicates the displeasure of the Persian Government concerning the conduct of the Persian Ambassador to France, Askar Khan [Askar Khan Afshar], and the Persian Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire, Meerza Ameen [Mirza Amin] (IOR/L/PS/9/68/91), and informs Canning of the appointment of Aga Hossein [Agha Hussain] as a Persian agent in Constantinople [Istanbul], directed to conduct communications between Persia and the Ottomans.
