Abstract: A letter from the Prince Royal [Abbās Mīrzā, Crown Prince] of Persia [Iran] to the Court of Directors of the East India Company, undated. The letter recommends Lieutenant Hart, a seconded officer in Persia, for reward by the Court of Directors for his service with the Prince’s army.An English translation of the letter is catalogued as IOR/L/PS/9/69/70.The letter was enclosed in the letter of Henry Willock, HM Chargé d’Affaires in Persia, to the Secret Committee of the Court of Directors dated 15 August 1821 (IOR/L/PS/9/69/68).Physical description: Condition: the letter was perforated in an attempt to stop the spread of disease.
