Abstract: A copy of a letter from Henry Willock, HM Chargé d’Affaires in Persia [Iran], to John [or William] McCulloch, Secretary to the Political Department of the East India Company, sent from Abher [Ābhar] and dated 14 August 1824.The letter forwards a private communication to Lord Conyngham, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, for the attention of the Secret Committee of the Court of Directors (IOR/L/PS/9/69/217).Physical description: The letter was perforated in an attempt to stop the spread of disease.
