- Abstract: Translation of a letter from Meerza Abdul Wahab [Mīrzā ‘Abd al-Wahhāb Nishāṭ Iṣfahānī Mu‘tamid al-Dawlah], Persian Minister, to the East India Company Envoy to Persia [Iran] Lieutenant-Colonel John Macdonald Kinneir.In the context of the ongoing war between Persia and Russia [Russo-Persian War, 1826-1828], the letter concerns Russian demands for money from the Persian Government in exchange for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Persia.
