- Abstract: A copy of a letter from the East India Company Envoy to Persia [Iran], Lieutenant-Colonel John Macdonald Kinneir, to Meerza Abul Hassan Khan [Mīrzā Abū al-Ḥasan Khān Shīrāzī], Persian Minister for Foreign Affairs, undated.The letter concerns Macdonald Kinneir’s meeting with Meerza Abul Hassan Khan and the Kaim Mukam [Mīrzā Abū al-Qāsim Farāhānī Qā’im-Maqām, Vizier to the Crown Prince of Persia] on the subject of the abrogation of the third and fourth articles of the Definitive Treaty, which concern British subsidies and military aid to Persia.
