These political letters appear in IOR/F/4/2203/108134. The correspondents are the Government of Bombay and Major Samuel Hennell, Political Resident in the Persian Gulf. It is the third in a series of thirty items.The item concerns steps taken to apprehend Ahmed Dad Kureem [Aḥmad Dād Karīm] at Huzam [Al Hazm], who is accused of murdering part of the crew of a vessel of which he was the nakhuda, seizing treasure from the vessel, and then setting it on fire.
