- Abstract: This item consists of copies of correspondence, consultations, memoranda, resolutions, and minutes cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay. The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; the Military Board of Bombay; Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Waddington, Superintending and Executive Engineer at Aden; James Brown, Engineer; and the Government of India.The item concerns the proposals to supply water to the isthmus of Aden. The two proposals involve supplying water through a tunnel or by a military road. The advantages and disadvantages of both proposals are discussed, including details of the machinery and the equipment required, and the cost.The item contains a contents page and the title page of the item contains the following references: ‘P.C.
