- Abstract: This item consists of copies of correspondence, minutes, and consultations cited in, or enclosed with, a political letter from the Government of Bombay.The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay and Major Samuel Hennell, Resident in the Persian Gulf.The item concerns an alleged act of ‘piracy’ committed by a dependent of Sheik Abdolla bin Khalfan [Shaikh ‘Abdullāh bin Khalfān], the Governor of Aseeloo [Bandar-e Asaluyeh], upon a ship from Nabend [Damagheh-ye Nay Band].
