These political letters appear in IOR/F/4/2302/118727. The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; Commander John Croft Hawkins, Senior Naval Officer in the Persian Gulf; and Lieutenant-Colonel Samuel Hennell, Political Resident in the Persian Gulf.
