- Abstract: This item consists of copies of correspondence, minutes, resolutions, and consultations cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay. The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; the Court of Directors of the East India Company; and Major Atkins Hamerton, Consul and Agent in the Dominions of the Imam of Muskat [Muscat].The item concerns the fair division of the property of an insolvent deceased banker among his creditors at Muskat. The man was named Dhurumsee [Dharamsī], and was originally from Cutch [Kutch].
