- Abstract: This item consists of copies of political letters from the Government of Bombay and other correspondence to the Court of Directors of the East India Company. The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; the Court of Directors; and Major Samuel Hennell, British Political Resident in the Persian Gulf. The enclosures to these letters are contained in the subsequent items.
