Abstract: This item consists of copies of correspondence, minutes, resolutions, and consultations cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay. The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; the Court of Directors of the East India Company; Edward Eden Elliot, Accountant General; and the Bombay Military Board.The item concerns costs incurred in transporting two mares from Bombay [Mumbai] to London. The horses were a present from the Imaum of Muskat [Imām of Muscat, Sayyid Sa‘īd bin Sulṭān Āl Bū Sa‘īd] to Prince Albert.
