- Abstract: Created by Ordnance Survey. Covers a forty-five-mile length of the River Tigris from Kut [Al-Kut] eastwards to Sheikh Saad [Shaykh Sa'd] in present-day eastern Iraq. Sheet extends approximately five miles to the north and fifteen miles to the south of the river. Created to support the Allied relief of Kut and against Turkish forces. Portrays hydrology, vegetation, roads and tracks, telegraphs, canals, settlements, isolated buildings, place names and the position of defences, and includes topographical and strategic notes. The margin bears the series designation 'G[eographical].S[ection].,G[eneral].S[taff]. 3233', a designation 'T[igris].C[orps]. 18' and date '18.3.16'.Manuscript additions show a railway, additional hydrology, and British and Turkish positions.Physical description: Materials: Printed, with manuscript additions in ink and crayonDimensions: 357 x 560mm, on sheet 458 x 656mm
