- Abstract: This part of the volume consists of copies of enclosures to a despatch from the Government of Bombay Secret Department to the Secret Committee, Number 77 of 1850, dated 17 December 1850. The enclosures are numbered 3-7 and are dated 27 November to 17 December 1850. A note in red ink, dated 1 November 1906, states that enclosures 6 and 7 (dated 17 December 1850) are missing.The papers relate to affairs in the vicinity of Aden, including the plan of the Sultan of Lahidge [‘Alī I bin Muḥsin al-‘Abdalī] to mount a sudden attack on Bir Ahmed [Bi’r Ahmad].The principal correspondent is the Political Agent at Aden.Physical description: 1 item (6 folios)
