Contents relate to: the suppression of the trade in enslaved people from Muscat’s dominions in [East] Africa and the Red Sea; a proposed blockade of Bushire [Bushehr] by Muscat; and a message from Queen Victoria urging the reconciliation between the Imam of Muscat and his eldest son, returning to the Island of Zanzibar via Mecca.
