Abstract: The item consists of copies of correspondence enclosed with letters from the Government of Bombay. It concerns requests from Claudius James Rich, Resident at Baghdad, and his predecessor Sir Harford Jones, for allowances to be granted to Coja Mokiel Ibn Minas [Khwaja Mikayil bin Minas Baghdadi], the residency’s interpreter, and Coja Owannes Pitcairn [Khwaja Hovhannes Paitkhim], described as Harford Jones’s former secret agent in Persia.
