Abstract: This file consists of an ordinance which was intended to be named 'The Transfer of Land Ordinance, 1919' and relates to immovable property transactions in Mesopotamia. Included with the ordinance are notes by the following individuals: Chaim Weizmann, President of the British Zionist Federation; Colin Campbell Garbett, Assistant Secretary for the India Office; Sir Edgar Bonham-Carter, Judicial Secretary, Baghdad, and Lieutenant-Colonel Evelyn Berkeley Howell, Revenue Secretary, Mesopotamia.
