Included is a letter to the Government of Bombay from Major Atkins Hamerton, HM Consul and Company Agent in the dominions of His Highness the Imam of Maskat [Imām of Muscat], dated 10 June 1853. Hamerton mentions the instructions he gave to Heskiel bin Eusoph [Khawājah Ḥizqīl bin Yūsuf], Native Agent at Maskat, regarding the Centaur, and also comments on Heskiel bin Eusoph's behaviour and reputation in Maskat.
